Why Orphans?
The estimated number of orphaned and abandoned children in the world is a staggering 163 million. In developing countries there just aren't the resources necessary to care for children who, through no fault of their own, find themselves without family and without hope. Yet, each child is precious and deserves to be loved, nurtured, and filled with a future and a hope. We know that we can do something. We know that we can make a difference. So, we seek to rescue, love, and nurture children-one child at a time. Below is our current project in Zamboanga City, Philippines.
Hope Children's Home-Zamboanga, Mindanao, Philippines
Construction has begun on our first building on the 1.5 acre parcel in Zamboanga City, a city of 800,000 in the southern Philippines. The home will house up to 12 children, house parents, and aide. Estimated completion date is April, 2012. More
