"Rescuing orphaned and abandoned children by funding children's homes in developing countries."
	Every child deserves to be loved and nurtured and to have an opportunity to grow up in a family. Yet, millions of children worldwide are in need of home and loving care. Hope For Kids International seeks to help meet the need. Here's how: Hope For Kids, Intl. funds the construction of children's homes by partnering with local Christian churches in developing countries who provide staff and ongoing support for the home. The homes are based on a family model and designed to meet the physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs of each child. With the aid of some volunteer labor and donated materials homes for 20 to 50 children can be built for as low as $5000 to $10,000. This represents a great return on investment. Zamboanga City, Philippines Zamboanga City, with a population of over 500,000, has a great need for a new children's home. Poverty, health issues, and a lack of government services has left many children orphaned and homeless. Hope For Kids, Intl. continues to make arrangements for a new home there by working with local churches. Al Cabading, Hope For Kids Intl. local representative, continues to work on land and legal issues. As funding continues construction is planned for 2005.
